ONE DAY PAPER MAKING WORKSHOP 

In this workshop you will learn how to transform cotton rag pulp into paper and create both plain and decorative sheets, using flowers and leaves to make inclusions and other different decorative methods.

Participants will go home with several sample sheets of paper. You will also visit the Auroville Papers factory and will have an introduction to the medium allowing you to take your paper making further using various methods, enabling you to set up your own studio.

TOPICS:

1. Use of vat, mould and deckle.
2. Sheet forming using cotton rag and other fibers.
3. Build other materials into the paper.
4. Press and dry the sheets.
